last weekend was fun!

 

saturday 14th Apr 07-

kayaking along brisbane river.. 1.5hrs.. all the way to goodwill bridge.. tiring man.. but very fun! =P

after that was abseiling!

woah.. damn scary..

didnt look scary @ all.. wasnt scared at all till i went over the edge..

didnt dare let go of the rope n relax..

i slammed into the wall once.. cos my feet werent spread far apart enough.. ouch..

but once i got the hang of it.. and though my heart was beating damn fast,

i managed to summon up the courage to look around me and down even!

i think i wanna try it again! hehe...

 

sunday 15th Apr 07-

road trip~~

to byron bay and nimbin..

was so fun!

we (berd+faye+stephy+weimei+me) rented a car..

drove to byron bay..

almost got lost tho.. lucky we asked for directions..

stopped quite abit along the way..

1st to the pie shop, then to byron bay beach, then to the light house,

and then lunch seafood platter pick-up and finally to the "quaint" little town of nimbin!

cool place..

very hippie..

and very i mean very "open"

practically everyone was on weed..

and it was sold quite openly without a care in the world..

lovely roadside band music and sunday markets too..

so we got some "happy biscuits" but i haven tried them yet..

anyways,

we left the lil town @ about 5plus n got to logan dimsum @ the manor for dinner!

yummy!

brought them around the city and south banks today

last night didnt sleep much.

went for a dinner  thingie with some friends in Towoomba!

which is like 2 hours drive away from Brisbane!

man.. just for a dinner..

then chatted and sang ktv until the wee hours of the morning..

it was too late to drive the long journey back

so we all stayed over

 

this morning we went for Mac breakfast

then brisbane market, chinatown then down to St Lucia to

meet the guys to bring them around the city.

man oh man~~

im so tired..

 

its a new year.

a whole new month into the new year already.

ive decided.

2007 is a brand new year!

so far, its not tooo bad..

though the start of the year was bad..

the guy i had thought was perfect

isnt too perfect after all..

this time from a trip to jakarta, indonesia.

it was a real packed 8-day trip

worth to remember

went with justin yongda n limton

n stayed @ limton's cousin's place

went to eat, shop and club!

with limton's indo friends.

all girls! about 4-7 in all..

piang eh.

all so slim n pretty with nice long hair, big eyes, awesome smile..

the works..

=P

anyways, i learnt alot from this trip to indo.

1- the traffic is the BEST! like in the movies where the cars zoom in n out in beween cars n lanes..

2- u can drive a manual car while talking on the phone, eating and smoking.

3- the lines on the roads r for decoration

4- the girls in indonesia are born n bred to become taitais

5- u can have a maid for S$50 a month

6- sayang dimana? aku mau cium kamu!!

been a long two weeks

but it went by so fast!

spent alot of time with Godma(my aunt) and family

(vanessa, little mike and uncle david)

slimed and slacked alot of my days.. but also went out alot..

n shopped!

it was a good holiday.. restful and relaxing! =D

so today's the 2nd of July

gosh.. how time flies..

n ive got no freaking idea what ive been doing la!

hai..

anyways,

we did rent our car!

 

28th June Wed..

collected the car @ about 4pm then drove around aimlessly (ok lah.. not aimlessly.. we had lovely Elisa the map reader.. shes FANTASTIC!)  n ended up @ sunnybanks to do some chinese food groceries.. =D then went to milton Freestyle for some dessert before heading back.

only got bak to IH @ about 10plus pm.

and had to leave @ 12pm to meet the guys for our road trip to Byron Bay.

but first, we had some time to kill so we had supper @ Pancake manors.. (oh.. i forgot to mention that we had our late dinner @ 11plus.. gosh! i ate so much that night!)

 

29th June Thurs

reached byron bay lighthouse @ 4plus am in the morning..

it was soo cold! imagine.. winter+cold wind from the sea? not good not good..

the drive there was alright.. lucky i had phyllis awake keeping me company thruout.. the 3 girls @ the back? they were knocked out man!

the sunrise was fantastic! so beautiful!

n we managed to see some dolphins n humpback whales out in the ocean! wow!

truly amazing! =D

after that we drove to Harbour town to do some shopping.

by the time we got there, i was so tired..i felt i could sleep standing up!

gosh.. i didnt actually feel like buying anything or had anything to buy..

but there were lots of sales!

got 2 tops for AUD$15

and a FOSSIL watch for only AUD$50!!

what a steal!

heh =D

then we had a late lunch n drove back to ACE rentals @ Albion to return the car..

total i spent AUD$105 on the car rental+insurance+petrol.. but isnt alot coz its shared among the 5 of us in the car which brings us to only AUD$21 per person! +D

so after we returned the car

went back to IH

it was about 5plus when we got back..

couldnt sleep immediately though i was like dead tired.. from not sleeping the whole night before.. so i watched abit of prison break before falling asleep

 

30th Friday

went for a BBQ lunch @ Stephanie's place in West End.

with Noel, Cindy, John, Sandra, Sulin then Liwei n Weiyang joined us later..

it was so nice! Good weather.. the sun was shining n it wasnt too cold..

BBQ by the lake. with great food n company.. awesome i must say! =D

there was like chicken, sausages, taiwan sausages, steak, red n green peppers, onions, mushrooms etc.. not to mention, stingray! Super Fantastic man!

we had great fun just eating n chilling.. and some daidee! dah best afternoon man! =D

in the evening

i went with Phyllis, Elisa n Angeline to this event organised by the Youth Group of BCC. it was this boat cruise thingie along the brisbane river..

great night view of the city skyline! =D there was food n music!

awesome friday!

1st July Saturday

hmm.. slacked most of the day away..

waking up late..

doing my laundry and watching prison break!

gosh! Michael Scofield is soooo handsome! *drools*

then went out in the evening dinner @ Cybercity.. had "nu rou hor fun!" yum!

n then Superman Returns.. the movie!

gosh!.. i Love that show!

to me, the show had meanings on so many different levels.. theres the romantic side, the good n evil story, the Superman the Saviour that comes to save the world.. i dont noe if anyone else thot so.. but i thot so.. =D its a good show!

2nd July Sunday..

slacking day again!

only went to church in the evening for mass @6pm

then stayed for the Young Adults gathering after that.

it was fun!

there was pizza n drinks..

then card games..

n i learnt how to play poker.. =D

imagine..

gambling in church..

i thot gambling is a big no no isnt it? =P

 

24th June Sat -

last day of exams, went out for dinner. then KTV with the girls @ Sunnybanks

25th June Sun -

 stephy and charlotte flew off. sent them off @ the airport and shopped @ DFO!i LOVE that place man!

26th June Mon-

woke up late. lunched @ the indian place in Hawken drive. did some grocery shopping. watched a movie in my room with Liwei n phyllis. Family stone.. nice show.. then cooked dinner for the peeps. 11 pple! OMG! never cooked dinner for so many pple b4! n took us like 3 hours!

27th June Tues (today)-

going to the city to cut n colour my hair! hehe! yea!
